Well I'm now 18 weeks and a few days into this pregnancy. I'm still feeling pretty good although I'm having a hard time getting comfortable enough to sleep. I have to get up several times every night to go to the bathroom and I'm not supposed to sleep on my back any more and can't sleep on my stomach so I'm trying to adjust to side-sleeping. As a life-long stomach sleeper that's been tough!
Here's the weekly update:
" Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born."
I have an ultrasound scheduled for this Friday morning however I'm going to have to reschedule it for next week sometime as Paul can't make it this Friday and he wants to be there.. So hopefully next week sometime I'll have new baby pictures to post!
