This month at I ♥ Faces   the theme is Best of 2013.  It’s always so hard for me to choose but ultimately, my absolute favorite photo this year is one I took of LP with Eliza.  I love seeing how much he adores his baby sister and this photo really captures his love for her…  I’m so happy that I was able to capture such a sweet moment between the two of them… Be sure to go to I ♥ Faces to check out the other entries!

This month at I ♥ Faces   the theme is “Shadows.”   Recently I downloaded a “softbox”app for my ipad which can be used as an easy and portable source of lighting for photography so that I can take some stealth photos of my babies sleeping. I love this one I took of Eliza curled up next to the slats of the crib.    I love how the shadows show the curve of her cheek and the pudge of her arm.  And I love how her thumb is close to her face as she falls asleep sucking her left thumb every night. This month at I ♥ Faces   the theme is   love. Of course, I had to share one of LP and Eliza.  I took this one at the end of a little photo shoot I was doing with them.  I’d mostly been taking photos of Eliza while LP bounced all over, not listening and generally behaving like a 4 year old.  She’d finally had enough and was dozing off, sucking her thumb when LP laid down beside her and just watched her napping for a while. This week at I ♥ Faces   the theme is "Anything But a Face."  The photo has to show a person, but not their face.  I love this photo of LP checking out the "Nemo" fish at Mystic Aquarium- you get the sense that he's trying to stand on his tippy-toes to see better and I love the dramatic colors of the fish tank against the darker background....
