Here are some photos and video of Paul's Pirate Party (try saying that three times fast!!)....My favorite part is when he blows out his candles (oh and yes, we used a #1 and a #2 candle - it adds up to 3.  Thought we had regular candles but we couldn't find them at the last minute. After our patio project we were left with several wood pallets that the pavers were delivered on.  We like to reuse materials as much as we can so we leaned them up against the shed figuring we'd use them to stack our firewood on or something.When we planted our vegetable garden Paul painted one in our trim color to act as a trellis against the side of the shed.  You can see it in the background

Last week LP and I went to Pennsylvania for a week to visit Nana and Pappy and to have a mini reunion with some of my college friends. Before I get into the before and after photos of our freshly painted master bedroom (YAY!) here's a photo of the curtains I made for the office.  They're what I like to call "cheater" roman blinds- the fabric is cut long enough to cover the entire window if we ever need to darken the room for any reason but the pleats are safety pinned in place.  Eventually I plan to attach buttons to the shade
